"Without us, God will not;
without God, we cannot"--

St. Augustine.

It is a claim that we humans are involved with God in the events of this world. God depends on us in some mysterious way as stewards of His creation to bring about change in the world. It is only through God's Grace that we are able to respond.

We have the great commission from Jesus Christ: "Go forth therefore and make all nations my disciples; baptize men everywhere in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And be assured, I am with you always, to the end of time"--Matthew 28:19-20 (The New English Bible).

The Spirit of God will strengthen and inspire us. We will not be doing this alone--we cannot do this alone.

A son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?"
The father who, despite having a heart condition, says, "Yes." They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other
marathons--the father always saying "Yes" to his son's request of going
through the race together.

One day, the son asked his father, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together." To which, his father said "Yes."

The Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever.

The race encompasses three endurance events--a 2.4-mile ocean swim followed by a 112-mile bike ride and ending with a 26.2-mile marathon run.

There is a huge "mindset difference" between the words "can" and "cannot."

Most of the time when someone says, "I cannot" what he or she is really saying is "I will not."

God gives you "free will" to choose.

Handling your life's finances is more like a marathon than a sprint.

You can be a spiritual champion!

You can be a financial champion!

You "can do everything God asks... [you] to with the help of Christ who gives... [you] the strength and power"--Philippians 4:13 (LIV).

"For with God nothing shall be impossible"--Luke 1:37 (KJV).
